Tone Up the Beat!

Tone Up the Beat!

Who doesn’t love a good shortcut?

Today, I’m treating you cuties to a fuss-free foundation hack: tone-up cream!

Well, I say it’s a “foundation hack” but that would be a little misleading, because it’s actually a foundation-free hack!

What is Foundation Even For?

Foundation is the basis of every makeup junkie’s (guilty!) routine. It literally sets the tone for what you want to layer on next. What you want is something that can even out your skin tone, cover up imperfections, and give you a nice, even base to work from. Bonus points if you can pick something up with sun protection!

How Can Tone-up Cream Replace Foundation?

Tone-up cream is multifunctional and usually it comes at the very end of your skincare regimen. If you’ve used one before, you may already know they can have an interesting consistency (they can be kind of thick and chalky in a good way). This is because tone-up creams normally contain all that extra stuff to brighten your complexion and blur your pores in addition to the normal hydration and moisturising you have come to expect.

If you give me a choice between applying tone-up cream or foundation on days that I feel “meh” but still need to boost my complexion, you bet that I’ll be pulling my hacks!

I’ll jump through any hoop to claim a little more of my time back!

Choosing a Tone-up Cream

The new Jeju Cherry Blossom Skin-Fit Tone-Up Cream SPF50+ PA++++ is looking very pretty in a pink tube and is absolutely my pick for my foundation-free days. Its liquid lotion texture feels super lightweight and blends naturally onto your skin, so you won’t need to worry about it being cakey nor leaving any white cast.

Even if makeup isn’t your jam (or if you don’t feel like going through it some days), a tone-up cream is still a slick way to round out a daytime skincare routine. It’ll help you correct a dull skin tone and double as an spf cream to protect you from UV damage. Just remember to double cleanse after to make sure you get it all off!

So if you’re looking for a new beat to ‘tone-up’ to, you’re gonna want to make this your “pink”. ????
